	Enclosed is a draft of a proposal for basic research in
artificial intelligence and computer proof-checking.  I understand
that it is possible to apply for a continuing grant that will come
up for review infrequently, and I would like to do that if possible.

	The content of the proposal is in a final form, but I am
not sure that the budget meets the requirements for the continuing
grant - hence this informal submission.
